Breakout kya hota hai?
Ek breakout tab hota hai jab ek stock apne established resistance level ke upar move karta hai aur wahan price bani rehti hai — sirf ek baar touch karke neeche nahi aati. Resistance level woh price zone hota hai jahaan stock previously kai baar ruka tha aur neeche wapas aaya tha. Jab finally yeh level toot jaata hai strong buying ke saath, toh yeh signal hai ki supply exhaust ho gayi hai aur demand ab dominate kar rahi hai.
Breakout trading ke do core pillars hain: price ki position (resistance ke upar ya neeche) aur volume confirmation. Dono zaroori hain. Sirf price ka upar jaana genuine breakout nahi hai.
NSE par 4 key resistance levels
Woh Resistance Levels Jahan Breakouts Matter Karte Hain
- 52-week high: Sabse important level. Jab stock apni 52W high ke upar jaata hai strong volume se, yeh sabse reliable breakout signal hai. Kasauti ka Magee filter exactly yahi dhundta hai.
- Multi-month consolidation ka top: Agar stock 3+ months ek range mein trade kar raha hai, us range ki ceiling ek major resistance hai. Jab yeh toothe, significant move aa sakti hai — yahi Darvas Box ka principle hai.
- Prior major high (swing high): Koi bhi historical price level jahaan stock pehle ruka tha woh resistance banta hai. Jitna purana aur tested woh level, utna zyada significant.
- Round numbers: ₹100, ₹500, ₹1000 — psychological levels. Institutional orders often in large clusters yahan pool hote hain, isliye yeh levels real resistance create karte hain.
Volume confirmation rule
Edwards & Magee ka rule: breakout valid tab hota hai jab volume breakout day par daily average se kam se kam 1.5x zyada ho. Yeh institutional participation confirm karta hai. Low-volume breakout ke saath price resistance cross kare, toh aksar woh "false breakout" hota hai — price jald hi wapas range mein aa jaati hai.
NSE-specific insight: FII flows ki wajah se NSE par absolute volume non-stationary hota hai — heavy FII buying phase mein "normal" volume bahut zyada hota hai. Isliye Kasauti volume ratio use karta hai (aaj ka volume ÷ 50-day average volume), na ki absolute numbers. Yeh adjustment Indian markets ke liye critical hai.
False breakout ke 3 red flags
Har breakout real nahi hota. Teen warning signs jo batate hain ki breakout fail ho sakta hai:
- Low volume: Price resistance ke upar gayi lekin volume average se kam tha. Institutional conviction nahi hai — yeh drift hai, breakout nahi.
- Resistance zone mein atakna: Price resistance cross ki lekin zyada nahi gayi — bas chua aur wapas. Genuine breakout mein price resistance se clearly upar close karti hai.
- Broad market weakness: Agar Nifty 50 us din 1%+ down hai aur aapka stock breakout kar raha hai, very suspicious. Real institutional breakouts typically market cooperation mein hote hain.
Kasauti mein breakout stocks kaise dhundhen
Kasauti mein breakouts ke liye do one-click methodology filters hain:
Magee button: Stocks jo 52-week high ke 5% ke andar hain, volume ratio 1.5x+ hai, positive day hai, aur 50 DMA ke upar hain. Yeh typical Edwards & Magee-style resistance breakout candidates hain.
Darvas button: Stocks jo 52-week high ke 10% ke andar hain, 52-week low se double ho chuke hain, aur volume above 100K hai. Yeh confirmed momentum momentum hain jahan Darvas box formations most likely hain.
Dono filters ek complementary angle se same type of opportunity identify karte hain. Agar ek stock dono filters pass karta hai, woh setup high-conviction hai.
Breakout ke baad kya karein
Breakout confirm hone ke baad teen rules:
- Stop-loss: Darvas style — breakout zone ke just neeche. Agar stock wahan se neeche aata hai, false breakout tha. Exit karo.
- Trail karo: Jaise stock new highs banata hai aur new boxes form karta hai, stop-loss ko har naye box floor par trail karo. Lock in profits without capping upside.
- Retest normal hai: Breakout ke baad stock aksar wapas resistance level ko "test" karta hai — ab yeh support ban jaata hai. Agar yeh level hold kare strong volume pe, position add kar sakte hain.
